Accelerate Capital co-advisor to Superior Graphite selling Active Anode Materials technology portfolio to ExxonMobile

We are proud to share that Accelerate Capital, working closely with Stanhope Capital Group, acted as co-advisors to Superior Graphite in its agreement to sell its U.S. and selected international assets – including its Active Anode Materials technology portfolio – to ExxonMobil.
Superior Graphite embodies the kind of entrepreneurial, technology-driven partner we are privileged to work with and the project is a show case for how Accelerate Capital works to scale climate tech companies.
For more than a century, Superior Graphite has been a pioneer in graphite innovation. This milestone transaction will enable ExxonMobil to accelerate the development of high-performance synthetic graphite for EV batteries and energy storage, strengthening domestic supply chains that are critical to the energy transition.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Ed Carney and the Carney family on this achievement and are honoured to have supported them through this strategic step.
