​

As an analyst at Accelerate Capital, you will be responsible for conducting due diligence on companies, identifying new projects for Accelerate Capital, staying up to date on developments and trends within your field, and communicating with relevant stakeholders.

​

Analysts are expected to be hands-on in project delivery. You must have strong business acumen and the ability to identify opportunities for collaboration and projects with national and international clients and partners. You will play a central role in a growing organization and participate in strategic decision-making.

​

As an analyst, you will also work on insight reports and analyses covering technologies, markets, and companies—both for internal knowledge development, external clients, and for public dissemination.

​

Scope of the position

​

• Conduct technical due diligence of projects and companies

• Build networks and strong relationships with partners
• Identify promising technologies and companies within green industry and critical minerals
• Develop presentation materials related to your areas of expertise, including but not limited to: market landscapes, technical processes, key stakeholders, regulatory frameworks, and development and business opportunities
• Participate in meetings with clients and partners worldwide
• Further develop industrial expertise within Accelerate Capital
• Some travel should be expected

Qualifications

​

We are looking for candidates with relevant competence at the MSc/PhD level, although relevant work experience may compensate.

​

We prefer candidates with a minimum of three years of work experience, ideally within consulting, finance, or relevant industries.

​

A solid understanding of and interest in the development of new climate technologies and markets is essential.

​

Knowledge, interest, and/or work experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:

• Critical minerals
• Mining
• Process industries
• Green value chains
• Life Cycle Assessments
• Techno-economic analyses
• Renewable energy
• Batteries and energy storage
• Power systems and grid infrastructure
• Public support schemes and policy instruments
• Business development

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. The working language will be English. Proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage but not required.

​
